Sheridan Pet Care's mission is to connect people and pets by providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care in a personalized, low-stress setting that supports pet well-being and fosters lasting, trusted relationships with their families.
Our Story
Sheridan Pet Care was established in the fall of 2024 by Dr. Amber Ingersoll. What began as a mobile veterinary practice has grown into a full-service brick-and-mortar clinic offering wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, senior pet care, individualized care plans, palliative and hospice care, and end-of-life support. And of course, we still offer house-call appointments — because some pets are simply more comfortable being cared for at home.
Dr. Ingersoll is also the only Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian (CHPV) in the state of Wyoming, bringing specialized expertise in comfort care, end-of-life decision-making, and helping families navigate some of the hardest moments with compassion and guidance.
Our clinic has a story of its own. The building on Broadway Street was once a local coffeehouse and one of Dr. Ingersoll’s favorite places to spend time thinking, dreaming up future plans, and studying for her hospice certification. After more than a decade of hours spent there, it felt like the most natural place in the world to build the next chapter of Sheridan Pet Care. It’s a space that has always been about warmth, community, and connection — and it still is.
Sheridan is more than just a place of business — it’s home. We love the unity and support of our community, where connections are built on just a few degrees of separation. The generous and giving spirit of our town, along with its beautiful outdoors, mountains, and fresh air, make this a place like no other.
