Dr. Sarah Pugliano

Dr. Sarah Pugliano joined the Sheridan Pet Care team in October 2026, bringing a special interest in dermatology and senior pet care. For Dr. Pugliano, one of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine is helping clients make the most of the time they share with their furry family members.
A native of Levelland, Texas, Dr. Pugliano knew from an early age that she wanted a career working with animals. Her love of science and healthcare ultimately led her to veterinary medicine. She attended Texas A&M University, where she earned her degree in Animal Science in 2005 before graduating magna cum laude from Texas A&M University’s veterinary program in 2008.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Pugliano enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Ryan, their daughter, Reagan, and their wonderfully full house of animals. Her pets include Bengal cats Brother Bear and Cowboy Dan; domestic shorthair cats Willis and Milos; Jolene, a Corgi; and small-breed mixes Honey and Ben. She also cares for a flock of about 24 chickens and seven quail.
